The Webkinz Orangutan is a large and friendly ape, his family lives on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo in Indonesia. The Orangutan is a tree dweller with long, strong arms and long reddish brown hair, Orangutan means man of the forest in Indonesian. The ape's population is rapidly decreasing and is in danger of extinction, this is caused by humans who are destroying his habitat to create new farmland.
